I am my Mother

I am an offspring of Mother Earth

Let the sun kiss my skin and

Have the grass beg me to my knees

As the flowers and plants alike invest their essence

Coexisting with the wind that blows through my hair

Watch me sink into my Mother’s bosom to feel whole, young

One more time.
